Junior Development
The Junior Development Group was formed in 2000 to provide a separate group for talented children between the aged of 6 and 8 years. This group is an elite class for children who have shown particular potential in gymnastics and is to develop their individual and team skills before joining the Squad when they reach 8 years. This system had changed slightly since the group was formed as they now join the Senior Development Group when they reach 8 years old.
The group has a 2 year programme. Children are recommended to the group from Gym Bobs classes, Centres or from their School. They enter the group by invitation only and are on a 2 week trial before becoming a full member of the group.
