Tumbling Tournament - March 2012

Open International Tumbling Tournament - 16th/17th/18th March 2012

Gymnast registration extended until Friday 9th March 2012, entries after this date will be charged at £40.00.

Southampton Gymnastics Club will be holding Two Tumbling Competitions

The First Competition will be based upon the European Championships

Friday 16th March 2012 18:30-22:30hrs (aprox)

This will be two tumble passes – one straight pass, one twisting pass, the total of these will give an overall individual position

Saturday 17th March 2012 18:30-22:30hrs (aprox)

This will be the top 4 scores from each country from the 16th March competition competing as a team (best 3 scores to count)

The competition will accommodate both junior and senior competitors

  

The second competition is an open competition based on WAGs and Senior FIG

Saturday 17th March 09:00-16:00hrs (aprox)

The top 8 scores in each age group will go through to the finals on Sunday 18th March 2012 09:00-14:00 (aprox)

NOTE: (15/16 and 17+ will compete in the evening with the international competitors)

All details are approximate at present and dependant on number of entry.

Entry fee: £20.00 per competitor (competitor withdrawal will forfeit entry unless a doctors letter is supplied)
Entry closing date for both competitions: 1st March 2012 due to the coming European trials 3/4th March 2012 the entry closing date for the open competition  will be extended until Friday 9th March 2012, entries after this date will be charged at £40.00.

International performers wishing to arrive earlier than the 16th of March are welcome to come and train prior to the competition. Accommodation and transport can be arranged for you at one of the many local hotels.
