Southampton Gymnastics Center
The majority of our Recreational gymnastics sessions for pre-school age right through to teenagers and adults are all based at the Southampton Gymnastics Centre (unless it states otherwise - ie - Bitterne Leisure Centre).

Trampolining, Street Cheer and all of our Squads also train at our fully fitted gymnastics centre.
Artistic
This group is based at our fully fitted gymnastics facility, on the Redbridge school site and we train on Monday 5-6.30, Wednesday 4.30-6 and Thursday 5-6.30. Our gymnasts in this group are required to train at least two of these sessions. This is a competitive group that compete regularly throughout the year. They have had some fantastic results winning many medals. This group train on four piece apparatus - bar, beam, floor and vault. This group has been running for just over a year with coaches - Lorna Clinton and Karen Arbuthnot and Theresa Saunders.
GMPD is split into two groups - Junoirs train for 1 hour and the Seniors train for 2 hour.
G.M.P.D Juniors
GMPD stands for Gymnastics & Movement for people with Disabilities. This group is based at our fully fitted gymnastics facility, on the Redbridge school site and train on Friday 5-6pm.
This group of gymnasts have a variation of disabilities or special needs and this session caters for children aged 5-10yrs, we make use of all the facilities at the main centre with coach ratios at 1-3 the children get lots of coaching assistance where required. This group has started off very well and we hope they grow into budding gymnasts that enjoy their gymnastics activity with us.
This group was started in September 2011 with coaches - Lorna Clinton, Karen Arbuthnot and Tommy Jacobson.
G.M.P.D
GMPD stands for Gymnastics & Movement for people with Disabilities. This group is based at our fully fitted gymnastics facility, on the Redbridge school site and train on Friday 6-8pm.
This group of gymnasts have a variation of disabilities or special needs and this session caters for older children (age 10+), it is a competitive group and the based on Artistic Gymnastics. They compete in GMPD competitions at Regional and National level. This group has been running for many years and we are proud that our many of these gymnasts that train in this group have been with the club for years and some are now qualified or training to be coaches themselves. This session is now led by Lorna Clinton.
Freestyle
This group is based at the main centre on the Redbridge school site and train on Friday 4-5.30pm
This Freestyle group is for children aged 8-16 and is based on parkour and free running. This session is gymnast based in the structure of the sessions with the gymnast being able to experiment with movement and how to move on and off equipment in their own style.
This group is led by Lorna Clinton and Ian Matthews.
